Vinca minor, also known as Periwinkle or Creeping Myrtle, forms a dense mat that effectively suppresses weeds while controlling soil erosion on slopes and hillsides. This hardy evergreen perennial thrives in any soil type and adapts to both full sun and full shade conditions, making it ideal for challenging areas under trees or along shaded borders.
Planting and Coverage
Space plants 8-12 inches apart for optimal coverage. This 40-plant pack covers approximately 30-40 square feet, depending on spacing. Closer planting creates faster visual coverage and quicker weed suppression, while wider spacing is cost-effective for gradual fill-in over two seasons.
Care Instructions
