Send 4 mature statement houseplants as a gift — delivered free across Ireland and 24 EU countries with an optional gift message on eligible plants.
Why this is the perfect housewarming gift
The 4 Large Houseplants Mix delivers 4 mature indoor plants in 17cm pots, 55-75cm tall — substantial, display-ready statement plants chosen for visual impact and easy care. Bigger than typical desk plants, fewer in number than a surprise box, more architectural impact per plant. The recipient receives 4 instantly-recognisable indoor plants ready to anchor corners, fill empty rooms, or display on side tables.
What's typically included
Each set is curated by our growers from current stock for variety and health. Plants typically include:
- Ficus Lyrata (Fiddle Leaf Fig) — large violin-shaped leaves, instant tropical statement
- Ficus Elastica (Rubber Plant) — glossy thick leaves in deep green or burgundy, classic indoor classic, very forgiving
- Dracaena Marginata (Madagascar Dragon Tree) — slim architectural form with spiky leaves, one of the toughest classic houseplants
- One additional rotating variety — a 4th ficus or foliage plant chosen each week for variety
Care basics
The plants in this mix are chosen for easy care:
- Light: Bright indirect light. Tolerates moderate light. Avoid direct south-facing windows.
- Water: One to two glasses per plant per week. Allow top 2cm of soil to dry between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
- Temperature: Standard room temperature (18-24°C). Keep away from radiators and AC vents.
- Feeding: Twice monthly during growing season (spring/summer), monthly in winter.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose which 4 plants are in the set?
The mix is curated by our growers from current stock — that ensures freshest plants. If you have specific species preferences, email info@plantgift.ie before ordering and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Are these plants pet-safe?
No. The mix is not curated for pet safety and usually includes Ficus and Dracaena, which are toxic to cats and dogs if eaten. For a pet-friendly gift, choose a kentia palm, areca palm or calathea from our pet-safe plants instead.
How tall are the plants exactly?
Plants range 55-75cm tall on arrival. Heights are measured from the soil surface. Some species (Ficus Lyrata, Dracaena) will continue growing; others stay compact.
Are the pots included for display?
Plants ship in standard 17cm grower pots — these are functional, not decorative. We recommend repotting into decorative cover pots for display, or leaving them as-is for a more natural greenery look.
How long does delivery take?
Ireland and the EU: typically 5–8 working days. Tracking is sent on dispatch.
What countries do you deliver to?
Ireland plus 24 EU countries: Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Poland, Austria, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg.
Can I add a greeting card?
A greeting card can be added on supported gift plants — look for the greeting card option on the product page before you add the gift to your basket.
