Mixed bulb collections take the guesswork out of planting, with ready-made blends for sunny, shaded, damp and dry gardens as well as tulip, daffodil, crocus and colour-themed mixes. They are an easy way to fill Irish beds, borders and pots with a long season of flowers. Free tracked delivery across Ireland and 24 more EU countries.
Most mixes are planted in autumn: daffodils and crocus from September, tulips in October–November. Plant each bulb at 2–3 times its own height deep, pointed end up, in free-draining soil, so sort large and small bulbs before you start.

For pots, use lasagne layering: large, late bulbs such as tulips go deepest, daffodils in the middle and small early bulbs like crocus or muscari on top. In beds, match the collection to the site: the Shade Garden and Damp Garden collections for shadier or moister spots, the Sunny and Dry Garden collections for open, well-drained ground.
Double freesia and ranunculus mixes are the exception: plant them in spring (March–April) once the risk of frost has passed. Leave all foliage for about six weeks after flowering. Tulip, daffodil and hyacinth bulbs are toxic to cats and dogs if eaten, so store and plant them out of reach.
Sort the bulbs by size, then plant each at 2–3 times its own height deep, pointed end up. In pots, layer the largest, latest bulbs at the bottom.
Yes. Plant daffodils from September and tulips in October–November, or layer them together in a pot with the tulips deeper.
Choose a shade-tolerant blend such as our Shade Garden Bulb Collection; daffodils, muscari and crocus also cope with part shade.
