Customer Commitment
We are committed to providing high-quality plants and a thoughtful, friendly service. If you are ever dissatisfied with a purchase, please contact us first at info@plantgift.ie — we will always endeavour to assist and resolve any issue fairly. Most queries are handled within one to three working days.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform stopped accepting new complaints in March 2025 and was shut down on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. There is therefore no EU ODR platform to refer you to.
As required by the EU Alternative Dispute Resolution Directive (2013/11/EU), we state our position clearly: Plant Gift is not currently committed to, and does not use, an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entity, and we are not obliged to participate in ADR proceedings. We ask you to contact us first at info@plantgift.ie — we will always endeavour to resolve a complaint directly and fairly.
If we cannot resolve a matter between us:
- Consumers in Ireland may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) for information and advice on their consumer rights — www.ccpc.ie.
- Consumers elsewhere in the EU may contact their national European Consumer Centre (ECC), part of the ECC-Net, which gives free advice and assistance on cross-border purchases within the EU.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights, including your right to bring a claim before the courts.
Consumer Rights — Perishable Goods
Please note: under Article 16(d) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to live plants and other goods that are perishable or liable to deteriorate rapidly. Our Refund Policy sets out how this works alongside our healthy-arrival guarantee, which covers damaged or defective deliveries separately and in full.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms, our Terms of Service, and any dispute relating to purchases from plantgift.ie or plantgift.eu are governed by Irish law. For EU consumers, nothing in this notice overrides mandatory consumer-protection rights afforded by the law of the consumer's country of residence.
