Key Features

• Variegated Foliage: Greyish-green leaves with attractive creamy-white margins provide year-round visual interest
• Purple Spring Flowers: Violet-blue blooms appear from spring through summer, measuring 2-2.5cm across
• Evergreen Coverage: Maintains its foliage throughout the year for continuous garden color
• Mature Size: Reaches 10-25cm in height, spreading up to 1 metre wide
• Weed Suppression: Forms a dense mat that effectively suppresses weeds once established

Growing Conditions

This versatile ground cover thrives in full sun, partial shade, and full shade, making it ideal for difficult spots under trees or in shaded borders. Vinca minor 'Argenteovariegata' tolerates a variety of soil conditions from poorly drained to well-drained, adapting to most garden settings. The foliage color appears richer in partial shade, while more flowers are produced in sunnier locations.

Garden Uses

Perfect for shady spots, borders, and underplanting beneath trees and shrubs. This low-maintenance perennial adds both color and texture to garden beds while providing effective erosion control on slopes. The variegated foliage steals the show in shadier locations where flowering may be reduced. Space plants 30-50cm apart for optimal coverage.

Care Requirements

Requires minimal maintenance once established. Plant in moist but well-drained soil rich in organic matter for best results. Water regularly during establishment, then this hardy perennial becomes relatively drought-tolerant. Trim back edges as needed to maintain desired boundaries and encourage dense growth.

Bulk Pack: This 60-pack offers excellent value for larger landscape projects, providing sufficient plants to cover approximately 10-15 square metres depending on spacing.
