Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' is a classic black-eyed Susan, covered in golden-yellow daisies with dark central cones. It brings reliable colour to the border when many other plants are fading.
- Golden-yellow daisy flowers with dark brown centres
- Flowers from late summer into autumn
- Pack of 24 young plants in 11cm pots, 15-25cm tall as supplied
- Clump-forming, with an upright habit
- Prefers full sun, tolerating light shade
- Attractive to bees and butterflies; good as a cut flower
Plant in sun or light shade in soil that holds some moisture but does not stay waterlogged, spacing plants about 40-50cm apart. Water well in the first season. The seedheads feed birds if left standing over winter; cut back in early spring. It looks good with ornamental grasses and echinacea.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
