Best Plant Delivery in Ireland 2026: How to Choose
Which plant delivery service is best in Ireland depends on what you need. Hopeless Botanics states next-day courier delivery after dispatch, which makes it the quickest option for a houseplant inside Ireland. Plant Store Ireland focuses on easy-care houseplants, and Newlands Garden Centre offers click and collect in Clondalkin. PlantGift offers free delivery with no minimum spend to Ireland and 24 more EU countries, a wide range that includes hedging, ground cover and bulk packs, and delivery of plants to Ireland ordered from abroad, usually within 5–8 working days.
This guide is written by PlantGift, a family-run online plant gift, landscape and gardening shop in Dublin. We have included competitors where they are the better fit. Delivery areas, fees and timings were checked on each shop's own website on 5 October 2026. Terms change, so check the shop's current page before you order. We have not included review scores, because they change often and are easy to misread.

How to choose
If you need a plant quickly, inside Ireland
Choose a shop that states next-day delivery after dispatch, and check how long it takes to dispatch. Hopeless Botanics states 1–2 days to pack and a next-day courier after that. PlantGift is not the quickest option here: it usually delivers within 5–8 working days of dispatch.
If you want free delivery with no minimum
PlantGift delivers free on every order, with no minimum spend, across Ireland and 24 more EU countries. The other shops in this guide charge for delivery based on order value or weight.
If you are sending a plant to Ireland from abroad
You can order from anywhere and have the plant delivered to an address in Ireland. See how to send plant gifts to Ireland from abroad. PlantGift also delivers to 24 other EU countries, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Poland. It does not deliver to the UK, including Northern Ireland.
If you are planting a garden, hedge or border
PlantGift sells hedge plants, ground cover and landscaping plants and bulk packs, with trade pricing on request for landscapers and businesses. See how bulk orders work.
If you want to collect in person
Newlands Garden Centre in Clondalkin offers click and collect. PlantGift is an online shop and does not offer collection.
If you want an easy-care houseplant or an office plant
Plant Store Ireland specialises in easy-care houseplants. PlantGift also has indoor plants and potted plant gifts ready to send.
Look at the dispatch date as well as the delivery time. A "next-day" promise only counts from dispatch. Check the plant's height and pot size, whether a gift message can be added, and what the shop says about plants that arrive damaged. PlantGift covers every order with a healthy-arrival guarantee: email within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and a damaged plant is replaced or refunded.
