Hypericum* 'Hidcote', also known as St. John’s wort, is an elegant, compact shrub that brings year-round structure and color to the garden. This hardy, evergreen plant has glossy, deep green foliage and produces large, bright yellow flowers from mid-summer to late autumn, featuring striking, star-shaped stamens. The blooms attract bees and butterflies, enhancing garden biodiversity. 'Hidcote' is low-maintenance and thrives in both full sun and partial shade, making it a versatile choice for borders, rock gardens, or as a low hedge. Drought-tolerant and long-blooming, this shrub provides a cheerful, sunny accent to any garden space.
