Alocasia Lukiwan - Ø12cm - ↕20cm
The Alocasia 'Lukiwan' is a rare hybrid houseplant that brings distinctive foliage to your indoor plant collection. This relatively new Alocasia cultivar arrives in a practical Ø12cm pot and stands at approximately ↕20cm height, perfect for shelves, desks, or terrariums.
Distinctive Foliage: The Alocasia 'Lukiwan' features shield-shaped to arrowhead-shaped leaves with unique texture. The deep green, almost black coloration contrasts beautifully with prominent lighter green or silvery veins. The glossy, bullate (bubbly) leaf surface adds visual interest, while the underside sometimes displays a purplish hue.
Rare Hybrid Plant: This hybrid was created by Indonesian horticulturist Wawan Santoso, crossing Alocasia alba and Alocasia sinuata. The name 'Lukiwan' combines his wife Luki Ani's name ('Luki') with part of his own ('Wan').
Indoor Air Purification: Like other Alocasia varieties, 'Lukiwan' originates from the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. Alocasias are recognized for their air-purifying properties, helping to improve indoor air quality in your home environment.
Alocasia 'Lukiwan' Care Instructions:

- Soil: Use well-draining, chunky potting mix combining potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark or coco coir.
