Echinacea 'Tricolour' is a mixed collection of coneflowers, bringing yellow, pink and white daisy-like blooms to a sunny border. Each pack is a blend of colours rather than a single variety, so the mix suits gardeners who want variety in one planting.
- Flowers: yellow, pink and white blooms with raised central cones, from summer into autumn
- Habit: upright clump-forming perennial that returns each year
- Pollinators: a recognised nectar plant, attractive to bees and butterflies
- Position: full sun, in well-drained soil
- Pack: supplied as 12 young plants in 11cm pots, each about 15-25cm tall, with the colour mix varying between plants
Plant in spring or early autumn in a sunny, free-draining spot, spacing plants about 40cm apart, and water well until established. Heavy, wet clay is best improved with grit or compost. Leave the seedheads standing over winter if you like, then cut back in early spring.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
