24x Bergenia Cordifolia 'Herbstblüte' - Evergreen Ground Cover - Pink Flowers

Bergenia Cordifolia 'Herbstblüte' - Hardy Evergreen Ground Cover

Bergenia cordifolia 'Herbstblüte' is a robust, evergreen perennial that delivers stunning pink blooms in late autumn when most other plants have finished flowering. This ground cover variety combines year-round visual interest with minimal maintenance requirements, making it an excellent choice for gardeners seeking reliable, low-effort planting solutions.

Plant Specifications

Each plant arrives at a height of 10-25cm in a 9cm diameter growing pot. This pack contains 24 individual plants, providing sufficient coverage for establishing ground cover across garden beds, borders, or shaded areas. The compact pot size allows for easy transplanting and quick establishment in your garden.

Key Features

The large, heart-shaped leaves are a defining characteristic of this Bergenia variety, creating a dense foliage carpet that suppresses weeds naturally. These glossy leaves maintain their presence throughout winter, often developing attractive bronze or reddish tones in colder months. The late autumn flowering period sets 'Herbstblüte' apart, producing clusters of pink flowers when color is scarce in the garden.

This hardy perennial thrives in shaded spots where many other plants struggle, making it ideal for north-facing borders, under trees, or alongside buildings. The evergreen nature ensures your garden maintains structure and color even during winter months.

Growing Conditions

Bergenia cordifolia 'Herbstblüte' adapts well to various soil types and requires minimal intervention once established. The shade tolerance makes it particularly valuable for difficult garden areas. Regular watering during establishment helps plants develop strong root systems, after which they become increasingly drought-tolerant.
