Festuca glauca, or Blue Fescue, is a small ornamental grass forming neat, rounded tufts of fine, silvery-blue leaves. The cool colour contrasts well with green, purple and gold plants.

- Flowers: slender buff flower spikes in early summer
- Light: full sun

Plant in spring in a sunny spot with free-draining soil; add grit to heavy ground, as winter wet is the main cause of loss. Comb out dead leaves in spring and divide tired clumps every few years to keep them compact.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
