Geranium macrorrhizum 'Spessart' is a bigroot cranesbill with scented, soft green leaves and clusters of white flowers flushed with pink in late spring and early summer. It forms a tidy, spreading carpet that copes with sun or shade.
- Pack: 24 young plants in 11cm pots, about 15-25cm tall as supplied
- Flowers: white-pink blooms from late spring
- Foliage: aromatic, semi-evergreen leaves, often tinted in autumn
- Light: sun, partial shade or shade
- Use: ground cover, borders, rock gardens and under shrubs
Plant in spring or autumn in ordinary garden soil, spaced around 40cm apart, and water until established. Trim lightly after flowering if needed. It spreads steadily, so give it room or divide congested clumps in spring.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
