Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus' is an elegant ornamental grass with very fine, arching leaves and feathery plumes. It adds movement and texture to borders and looks striking when planted in drifts.

Plant in full sun in reasonably fertile soil that does not stay waterlogged. Water well through the first season while roots establish. Leave the dried stems standing over winter for their structure, then cut them back to just above the ground in early spring before new growth starts.
