This mixed pack combines three forms of Persicaria amplexicaulis, or bistort: 'Alba' (white), 'Rosea' (pink) and the red-flowered species form. All make clump-forming perennials with slender flower spikes above heart-shaped leaves. The pack of 24 plants comes in 11cm pots.
- Flowers: white, pink and red spikes from summer into autumn
- Foliage: pointed, heart-shaped green leaves
- Supplied as: 24 mixed plants, 15-25cm tall, in 11cm pots
- Light: full sun to partial shade
- Use: borders, naturalistic planting and cut flowers
Plant in fertile soil that does not dry out and water well while it establishes. These grow much taller than the young plants supplied, so site them towards the middle or back of a border. Cut stems back to the base in late winter.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
