2x Skimmia japonica 'Rubella' Evergreen Shrub - 15cm Pot, 30cm

Skimmia japonica 'Rubella' is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy dark green leaves and clusters of deep red flower buds that add colour through autumn and winter. This pack of two is a dependable choice for pots, shady borders and woodland-style planting, and the plants are valued for buds, flowers and foliage rather than berries.

• Glossy evergreen leaves all year
• Deep red flower buds through autumn and winter, opening to scented white flowers in spring
• Pack of 2 plants in 15cm pots, around 30cm tall
• Suits partial shade or shade, out of hot afternoon sun
• Works in borders and in containers

Plant in moist, well-drained soil enriched with compost or leaf mould, in a spot sheltered from strong wind. In pots, use good-quality ericaceous compost and water regularly. Keep them out of hot afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
