Prunus laurocerasus 'Caucasica' is a vigorous evergreen laurel with large, glossy, dark green leaves. It is widely planted for tall, dense boundary hedges and screens that stay leafy through winter.
- Foliage: large, glossy dark green leaves, evergreen
- Upright flower spikes of creamy white blooms in spring
- Supplied as 40 plants in 9cm pots, 25-35cm tall
- Full sun, partial shade or shade
- Suits hedging, screening and shelter planting
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and water regularly through the first summer. Space about 50cm apart for a hedge. Trim in late spring or summer, ideally with secateurs, as cutting through leaves with shears leaves unsightly brown edges. Leaves and seeds are poisonous if eaten.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
