48x Carex Ice Dance Ornamental Grass - Evergreen Ground Cover 10-25cm

Carex morrowii 'Ice Dance' - Evergreen Ornamental Grass Ground Cover

Carex morrowii 'Ice Dance' is a versatile evergreen ornamental grass that functions as an effective ground cover for gardens of all types. This hardy sedge thrives in both full sun and shaded areas, making it adaptable to various garden conditions. The plant grows quickly to fill spaces, reaching a mature height of 20-30 cm.

Low-Maintenance Garden Solution

This ornamental grass requires minimal care throughout the year while providing consistent year-round greenery. The evergreen foliage maintains its appearance through all seasons, eliminating the bare patches that deciduous ground covers create during winter months. A simple pruning in late February keeps the plant tidy and compact, representing the extent of maintenance required.

Growing Characteristics

Carex morrowii 'Ice Dance' establishes quickly in garden beds, borders, and containers. The grass spreads steadily to create dense coverage, suppressing weeds naturally while adding texture to garden designs. Its tolerance for both sun and shade positions makes it suitable for challenging garden areas where other plants struggle to establish.
